Off-Campus Housing
- Providence College does not provide housing for graduate students. However, we recommend that incoming students seeking housing use the https://www.jumpoffcampus.com/ website.
- Providence College also partners with the 02908 Club at the undergraduate level, but students can contact them about securing graduate student apartments. For more information please see: https://the02908club.com/

Course Registration
- Register online via Cyberfriar at https://cyberfriar.providence.edu.
- In order to access CyberFriar you will need your Banner ID and password. If you experience difficulty accessing this site, contact the Office of the Registrar at 401.865.1033 for assistance.
- You may email your registration. Instructions are available at this link.
- Registration dates and course offerings can be viewed on Cyberfriar or at the Registrar’s webpage, which can be accessed through the Registrar’s website.
Student ID
- Once admitted to a program all graduate students can receive an ID card at the PC Card Office (Harkins Hall, Room 401) between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. For more information on obtaining a PC ID card, please visit this webpage.
- ID cards are free of charge when first issued
- Your ID card can be used to check out library books, for printing and making copies on-campus, or to make purchases on-campus and at specified off-campus venues. Note: you must add money to “PC Cash Accounts” in order to use your card for making purchases.

Parking
- Students can complete a parking permit request form online at this link.
- Parking permits are valid for one-year, and allow students access to designated parking areas.

- Concannon Fitness Center Membership: Full-time graduate students can sign up for a gym membership at the Concannon Fitness Center for a reduced fee of $50 per semester, and $50 for the summer. Memberships can be obtained through the Membership Office in the Peterson Recreation Center between 8:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday. You must present a valid Providence ID card to apply for a membership.
- Health Care Coverage: All full-time graduate students must have appropriate health care coverage. Graduate Assistants can be covered under a family member’s plan or can obtain coverage via the Affordable Care Act. Providence College also offers a health care plan for all undergraduate and graduate students. Information about this program can be found at this link.
- Mental Health Counseling: All Providence College students can make an appointment with the Personal Counseling Center to meet with a counselor and obtain a referral for additional care. Please visit this webpage for more information.
